सिंधु बचन सुनि राम सचिव बोलि प्रभु अस कहेउ। अब बिलंबु केहि काम करहु सेतु उतरै कटकु॥

It was solely through the divine greatness of Shri Raghuveer that the rocks floated upon the sea. Those who abandon such a glorious Lord as Shri Ram to worship others are truly foolish of mind.

बाँधि सेतु अति सुदृढ़ बनावा। देखि कृपानिधि के मन भावा॥ चली सेन कछु बरनि न जाई। गर्जहिं मर्कट भट समुदाई॥1॥

Nal and Neel built a bridge that was extremely strong and sturdy. When the compassionate Shri Ram beheld it, His heart was filled with joy. Then the great army began to march forward with its splendour beyond description, as the valiant monkey warriors roared mightily in unison.

Beholding their playful antics, the gracious Lord Raghuveer and Shri Lakshman laughed with joy as they advanced on their way. Thus, Lord Raghuveer, accompanied by His mighty army, reached the shores of Lanka. The countless monkey commanders assembled there defied all description.

बाँध्यो बननिधि नीरनिधि जलधि सिंधु बारीस। सत्य तोयनिधि कंपति उदधि पयोधि नदीस॥5॥

कंप न भूमि न मरुत बिसेषा। अस्त्र सस्त्र कछु नयन न देखा। सोचहिं सब निज हृदय मझारी। असगुन भयउ भयंकर भारी॥1॥

न भूकम्प हुआ, न बहुत जोर की हवा (आँधी) चली। न कोई अस्त्र-शस्त्र ही नेत्रों से देखे। (फिर ये छत्र, मुकुट और कर्णफूल जैसे कटकर गिर पड़े?) सभी अपने-अपने हृदय में सोच रहे हैं कि यह बड़ा भयंकर अपशकुन हुआ!॥1॥

फूलइ फरइ न बेत जदपि सुधा बरषहिं जलद। मूरुख हृदयँ न चेत जौं गुर मिलहिं बिरंचि सम॥16 ख॥

The bombs burst with thunderous force like lightning, while the battling warriors roared like clouds at the time of universal dissolution. Gripping rocks and mountain peaks, they hurled them at the fort, crushing and killing the demons wherever they stood.

The ten-headed Ravan attempted to lift Lakshman ji and carry him away, but the pride of his unmatched strength failed before the one upon whose head the entire Cosmos, with its fourteen spheres, rests like a grain of sand. The deluded Ravan could not recognize Shri Lakshman as the Master of the three spheres (Earth, Heaven, and the subterranean region).

Tulsidas says that as soon as the Lord began to move His bow and arrows, the entire cosmos trembled, the elephants of the directions, the divine Tortoise, Sheshnag, the Earth, the oceans, and the mountains all began to quake.
