I reverently bow to Lord Ram , serene, eternal, incomparable, and beyond human comprehension. He is sinless, the bestower of supreme bliss in the form of liberation, ever served by Lord Brahma, Lord Shambhu, and Lord Shesha, the King of Serpents. Known through the Vedas and Upanishads, He is all-pervading, the Lord of the Demigods, who manifests in human form through His own divine illusion (Maya). He is the dispeller of all sins, the ocean of compassion, the noblest of the Raghu lineage, the jewel among kings, and the ruler of the Universe.

सुनहु पवनसुत रहनि हमारी। जिमि दसनन्हि महुँ जीभ बिचारी॥ तात कबहुँ मोहि जानि अनाथा। करिहहिं कृपा भानुकुल नाथा॥1॥

निज पद नयन दिएँ मन राम पद कमल लीन। परम दुखी भा पवनसुत देखि जानकी दीन॥8॥

चलेउ नाइ सिरु पैठेउ बागा। फल खाएसि तरु तोरैं लागा॥ रहे तहाँ बहु भट रखवारे। कछु मारेसि कछु जाइ पुकारे॥1॥

After bowing at Sita ji’s feet, Hanuman ji entered the grove. He ate the fruits and began tearing down the trees. Many demon guards were stationed there; Hanuman ji slew some of them, while the rest fled in terror, crying out for help to Ravan.

कछु मारेसि कछु मर्देसि कछु मिलएसि धरि धूरि। कछु पुनि जाइ पुकारे प्रभु मर्कट बल भूरि॥18॥

All the celestial beings, the Gandharvas, Kinnars, Demigods, Sages, and Serpents, rejoiced within their hearts, knowing their long suffering would now soon end when Lord Ram and His army vanquish the demons. The valiant monkey warriors let out piercing cries as countless ranks surged forward, chanting and singing of Lord Ram’s countless virtues: “Victory to the mighty and all-powerful, glorious Shri Ram, the Lord of the Koshal Kingdom!”

This divine episode, which removes the impurities of the Kali Age, has been sung by the devotee of the Lord, Sage Tulsidas, according to his understanding. The virtues of Shri Raghupati are the very abode of bliss, the destroyers of doubt, and the dispellers of grief. O’ Foolish mind, abandon all other worldly hopes and dependencies, and ceaselessly sing and listen to His sacred glories.
