auto_storiesSacred Story & Significance
According to the Mahabharata, when Lord Krishna cut His finger with His Sudarshana Chakra, Draupadi immediately tore a piece of her silk sari and wrapped it around His wound to stop the bleeding. Moved by her devotion, Krishna promised to protect her dignity whenever called upon, which He fulfilled during the vastraharan episode.
